Go Developer

We are looking for a Go Developer to join an international software development and outsourcing company and work on a project developing a global digital platform and delivering scalable backend solutions for the insurance and assistance industry.

Our customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain. The company provides a diverse portfolio of customer-oriented solutions across multiple business areas and markets. With a strong focus on digital capabilities, operational excellence, and long-term development, the organization continuously invests in technology, process improvement, and service innovation to support evolving customer and business needs.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing a global digital platform for the insurance and assistance industry. It supports travel, automotive, health, and assistance services by delivering scalable, reliable solutions that improve customer experience and streamline business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform for personalized insurance offers.

• Own backend systems for multiple user-facing apps using gRPC-based microservices.

• Design and maintain REST/gRPC APIs for core insurance platforms and third-party services.

• Manage transactional data in PostgreSQL, including policies and claims.

• Implement event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, focusing on monetary calculations.

• Monitor services with Grafana/Prometheus to catch issues proactively.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to platform design and development.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum framework.

• 5+ years of commercial development experience, with 3+ years in Go.

• Higher education in Computer Science or related fields.

• Extensive experience with AI implementation and configuration.

• Background in fintech or banking domains with complex integrations.

• Strong skills in concurrency, microservice architecture, and containerization.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and REST API design.

• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

• English level: Upper-Intermediate or above.
